To solve an issue that something annoying you, best option is start from the very basis step. Here you've install JDK, so make sure that the installation and configurations are properly setup.

I think you've write some code, compile and run them. In what stage is it happen, runtime? And also if it's a bit of complex code/example, try a simple one and see the same is occur or not. In that sense you can narrow down the problem, either something wrong with your code or something wrong with the OS or JDK installation.

So that means you've not set the classpath on your installation. Bet things is to set that first of all, before test anything else. Hope you know how to set the classpath.
