    Default String builder scramble word game

    my program works...

    but it scrambles the word again every time i guess incorrect. anyone know what i am doing wrong without me having to post my source code?

    i am using a string builder

    That is what i was hoping for... i didn't want to paste my source code because it's an assignment in my java programming class. Considering my previous posts came up first when fellow students did a google search on the same problem i was having and therefore found my post and answers.

    I ended up figuring it out on my own though. but i am now in the process of doing a total over haul with my program and am running into different errors. I am having a hard time figuring it out and again don't want to post my code for help...

    That was the reason why i posted such an obviously stupid question in hopes of pointing to in the right direction.

    all good though... i laughed too when i saw the replies :D
