i cant understand or work it:o
can any one give me some links for explaining it:)
or give me the right way to learn it:)

Thanks for reducing your font size; a tip for when you start reading that tutorial linked by Fubarable: keep in mind that the entire byte Streams and character Readers/Writers are implemented as wrappers; given a Stream you can always wrap it in another Stream that offers more functionality. Those wrappers can always present themselves as the objects they wrap; a powerful framework it is.

I guess Sun Tutorials can help you. But IO is not a single term... There are many classes which can be used according to your program task.

The PrintWriter or PipedOutputStream for example etc

What effect you want to get? To read an image or a byte array?

Sun tutorials do what they intend to do give a good foundation for other work, i would reccomend starting there unless you got some specific problem they dont allude to either directly or indirectly. :)
