Am I able to have a console on a webpage that runs my programme like an applet would, but with no GUI?

I think I see what you are trying to do. This is possible though I wouldnt recommend it.

If your trying to run a java application through a web browser you need to host the jar file on a server first. You can the establish a HTTPJarConnection and create a small applet that calls Program.main(). Again I wouldnt recommend it unless the application is a small one since it would take up bandwidth unnecessarily in order to run the application.

Loading the applet makes sure that less bandwidth is used for your program.

If this is what your not trying to do then please explain more

Oh, okay, so you're saying I should add GUI and embed an applet instead?

Yes I would. Less chance for errors and since applets were designed with browsers in mind, I would recommend it.

Can you explain? programs that run in the console don't have a GUI (Swing stuff).
An applet occupies a chunk of a browser's window. It can draw whatever it wants there.
Also an applet can open a JFrame containing normal components.
