Default Advise in web drag and drop graphics

I need to to be able to drag and drop in web pages.
In other words something like a company that sell boxes.
I have boxes to select from a display of boxes in pictures.
Once the box is selected, I need to select the wrapping from a display of paper colors and drag and drop small pictures to the box wrapped from a display of pictures.
Then add a frame with a caption.
    Simple?

    Where should I start?

    What?

Are you trying to do this in Java, or Javascript?

    Default drag and drop

I was hoping some one to direct me in the right direction.
I do not know at this point, which one.
Is either one capable of drag and drop?

    Default Drag and drop

I was just reading what are the difference bet. the 2 of them.
It seems that I would need Java scripts as I will attach then to html pages.
    Am I correct?
More specific, going back to the Box Factory sample.
A web page shows working frame with a kind of banner with pictures of boxes (like rectangular or square boxes) in it.
This banner will scroll left to right or top to button.
I want to drag one of the pictures form the banner into a working frame.
Once the box is in the working frame then:
I would be great to fill the box with a choice wrapping paper from a banner.

    Is it clear?

    Default Drag an Drop

Great, Now can you point to a simple sample where to start some basic drag and drop steps?

I saw some threads about drag and drop and I could not see a simple step to start.

Some basic steps That I can learn from it, will be fantastic.
