I circumvent those problems by using PrimoPDF; it's a free PDF generator that serves as a (virtual) printer; all you have to do is print your .doc file and that printer driver does the rest (i.e. it generates a pdf file for you, it works great).

using itext
Hi,
Wat i am looking for is java code convertion,
I tried with Itext .. but the problem is tat ... it is converting only words and not tables and images.(document contains images ,text and tables)

webcraft, the problem is that there's no open-source program that does what you want (as much as I know).
Although, what josAH has given is a free software, it's not an open-source software and that's why
the answer to your question is : "there's no lines of code to what you want and we don't
know how it has been done".

See friend,
I think u have interpreted my need in a different way .
Mine is a web application . i am developing the application in java .I have files in word document.
I want my clients to get the files in pdf format .I have only word document in my server.
Hop u hav understood my requirment.
