Hi, it´s my first time in this forum. I hope that anyone can help me on this:

I'm granslating a java calculation procedure to Visual Basic (Excel). There i found the followinf code:

funtion starting() {
windownumber=1;
}

I would like to know what is the meaning of: "windownumber=1"

It is an application specific variable. I mean it should be defined by the programmer and there is no windownumber variable predefined in Java.
