    Question Decompilation of Bytecode to .java file

    Hi everybody,
    I,newly join the forum.I want to know how bytecode is decompiled to .java file.
    Currently,there are Jad and Dj java Decompiler.I want to know whether the these decompilers,decompile comments,spaces in the java .class file(java program).

    There are no comments in the .class file, i.e. javac, the source code compiler didn't compile them (it can't, there's no object code directive available for comments). Those comments are only in the source code (the .java files); also the entire layout is gone.

    The entire decompilation business is a can of worms, if I were you I won't go there.

    Default Decompilation of Bytecode to .java file(Inivative ideas in Java)

    Hi JosAH,
    I am very thankful to you.Sir,I have final year BE project,for that I have to make some thing NEW in java.So,I came up with idea of new Java Decompiler.Now,I understood it is not good.JosAH,I am requesting you suggest me some inivative ideas in Java.

    Don't let me discourage you; all I was saying is that decompilation is extremely difficult as you can see from the results of already existing decompilers, but feel free to give it a try; maybe your decompiler can do a better job.
