    Default Beginner Problem

Hello, I will be a sophomore in high school next August and I enrolled myself in AP Computer Science where I will learn to program Java. The problem is that my teacher send me some homework for the summer and passed me a folder where I can find all the things I have to download Java, this include the JDK, JCreator Pro and Java Platform SE Binary as shown below:

I already installed the three of these and I found weird programs in my computer like Notepad++. I already found a lot of tutorial to learn to program java but the problem is that I don't know how to open everything(JDK, JCreator Pro and Java Platform SE Binary) in order to start programing.

My recommendations for the first few simple programs is NOT to use the IDE.
Use a command prompt window to issue the javac and java commands so you see what is happening. Later the IDE will be very nice to use.

Many beginning students have a hugh learning curve with IDEs. Plus trying to learn java.

    Your steps could be:
Get/Create a source file by using an editor. Source files have extension: .java
Open command prompt window and change to folder with .java file
    Compile your program by
    Enter command: javac yourjavasourcefilename.java
This will generate a .class file: yourjavasourcefilename.class
    If no errors,
    execute your program by
    Enter command: java yourjavasourcefilename

If u r Bignner in Java then,
U Should Start with Notepad Editor.
Using this U will better understand that How the java Language work.
Java IDE is the Later thing.
