I've got a challenge for you. ;) Implement the classical Asteroids game in Java using Java2D. Collision detection with destructible objects should be implemented. If you prefer a greater challenge, implement it using a 3D library like Java3D or OpenGL while maintaining destructibility.

Now that would be a challenge ;)
