    Default Opacity change

    hi im quite new to programming in java, used to program in vb.net (learned at school )now we learn java
    no i have a question how can you change to opacity kinda like the windows side bar
    because i want to change the opacity of my form and let my buttons look like normal can anyone help me with this :)

    whats the best way to improve my java skills
    i have a basic knowledge of classes (programed oxowith a lookahead )

    Did you do the Sun Java Tutorials? For a nice and thorough reference I always suggest a book by Java's creator: The Java Programming Language, by James Gosling et. al. And for a bit of fun and education you can always read the forums overhere as well as Sun Java forums (google for them).
