    Default About installation of Ide of java

    I am new in java.I want to install java IDE,i have 2 options netbean & eclipse ,I want to prefer built in controls like VStudio of dotnet,

    I need working in web development.
    I want to use tomcat & MSSQL 2000.

    Kindly suggest me better with versions of IDE & tomcat version

    Read the sticky thread in this sub-forum; there is no 'best' IDE, so both Eclipse and NetBeans are fine choices.
