I'm new to java and have been looking a bit at its interaction with XML. I'm using a DocumentBuilderFactory to validate an xml file against an xsd schema. Nillables are allowed in most cases. When examining the nodes, how can I tell the difference between a nil value (<Element xsd:nil="true"/>) and an empty string (<Element></Element>)?
Thanks so much for your time in helping out a newbie...
