First post :D, Well im new to java, here is my first ever project!
Hey so i am taking IT at college for 2 years, and we do 4 hours of programming each week, so i created a simple, yet effective program, it's a colour picker that gives you a hex value.
I think i have done well in terms of GUI ease of use, and layout.
Let me know how i can improve and feedback, thanks :D
colourpick.jar
Thanks guys, and i look forward to spending alot of times on these forums as i wish to learn alot! :)

It's nicely laid out, and the sliders work well. A couple of things to think about:
It's a bit surprising that a button labeled "Red" sets the red value to 0 and leaves the other values where they are. Same goes for the Green and Blue buttons, of course.
It would be nice if there were a way to copy the hex value displayed at the bottom to the clipboard, so it could be pasted into other programs.
All in all, a nice job. If you'd like to post the source code here, we can comment on style and implementation details.

Hi Gary, thanks alot for your reply, it means alot that people are active :)
I kind of set them to reset their individual slider's, however i think i might add a "reset all" button too.
Good idea about copying the hex value to clipboard, definately something i will think about!
I sure can post the source, but is there an easier way, than to just copy it all here?
Thanks!

Clever little program! I'm curious as of the code. Never done anything with colors really, my experience is more with systems and databases.
