How to decrypt it?
if you know plaintext, ciphertext, maybe and password.

well that's pretty much dependent on how it was encrypted :P I'm not a code expert, but I think you have to know the encryption method in order to decrypt it. Then the question is more: how do I get to know how something is encrypted? With that question you should try a cryptography forum, not a java forum. You might also try a maths forum.

@OP, this is forum discussing about Java related technologies. Not related with cryptography and stuff. It's better to ask your question in a relevant forum. Adding more, you have to find several things to solve this.

1. Is encrypted or not
2. Public algorithm, and the public keys

Do you know these, or you are trying to do an attack on someones' data?
