Tool for teaching Java
I am a University teacher and I am giving an "Introduction to programming" course in Java.
Some time ago, I saw a tool on the Internet. The tool graphically simulated the execution of a Java program, line by line. It was a kind of IDE with the screen divided in an area for the code, an area for the variables, an area for a graphical representation of objects, an area for the heap (if I remember well).
The tool went from line to line of code, representing graphically what each line did.
I can't remember the name of this tool. I have been searching for it using Google for hours and I am desperate.
Can somebody help me? Thanks in advance,
No offense, but your Google skills need improvement :D
