Need to know how can we find out the package name and which class to be modified.

Actually i am new to java, but i kept around sme years of experince in my resume to get selected.
I got some work assigned to me by my manger in the issue tracker. where he they mentioned some issue to be solved.
they did not mention any test cases r any class name to be modified. my ques is how can i find out the code which is to be modified. And the main thing is they gave me a dead line util 2marow to finish up this task. can any one please help me in finding out this issue.

Ask your manager, we don't even know what you're supposed to be working on.
