Default Classpath issue, java 1.5 vs java 1.6 and -cp

I was running a client driver using java 1.5

The form of the command was:

    Java Code:
    java -cp C:\app\app.jar -jar driver.jar
This worked fine in java 1.5, but in java 1.6 it will not recognize the -cp or -classpath options

The 1.6 still places those option on the help listing, but it does not recognize them when I try to load my JAR.

    Has something changed in 1.6

Does 1.6 require all jars to use a manifest file, and purposely ignore the -cp and -classpath options ?

    Thanks

I am using a .bat file that works on the 1.5, but does not work under 1.6, with the same environment and same directory and same bat file.

The only difference is installation of the 1.6 or 1.5 images

I have tried a couple different 1.6 installatino packages with the same results

Does anyone have any idea of what I should do next to debug this ?

    Thanks

HI, I have a similar issue. Did you ever resolve this problem?
