Try my Java Swing sample

Hello, if anybody wants to see simple desktop app written in Java - you are welcome to schastny.net/java/pinger.html.

This is Pinger - an IP-host monitoring tool written on Swing library.

Core Pinger features:
* maintaining a list of nodes in the xml-files;
* statistics viewed at the monitor can be saved in the Excel file;
* customizable ping parameters;
* can be minimized to system tray.

You can download both jar and source packages from the site.
