You need Sun's Javax Comm package for that (serial port support) or even better, a public domain clone: RXTX (it's even better than Sun's version and runs on Windows machines). Google is your friend here.

Yes, RXTX is available for MS Windows and Linux, the Sun package is not (officially) available for MS Windows anymore. As I wrote before: Google is your friend.
