    Default Reallyy noob question

So in class we've just been using the System.in and System.out for input and output, not really that advanced. But the instructor showed us once how to make boxes for input and output that actually pop up, and now I can't find that code. I know this is really nooby but I couldn't find it so could anyone tell me what the class is? or maybe a sample code?
