Need help with short problem

First year student and I have a problem I'm trying to make a program for a homework, just gotta figure out that when I enter a number it moves to an array but in whole number and one number per slot... such as if I enter 345 the 3 goes into vec[0], 4 into vec[1], and 5 into vec[2]; I already know how to make an array depending. I know how to do the rest would be grateful if anyone can help. Sorry for my english being as that it's my second languaje and not living in america.

Look at the API docs for String. There is a method there that actually has Array in the name, and that does what you need.
