    Default Communicate with serial port

    hello plz can any body suggest how to communicate with com port device so that i can read data from that device

    thanks for the reply josah i downloaded comm.jar but i am unable to know how to use package plz can you post the procuder for accessing package

    The Sun package comes with installation notes that tell you exactly what file has to be put where (and why). Did you read it?

    yes i placed .dll file in bin and jar file in lib folder

    If I remember well there's also a small properties file you have to store somewhere. btw that .jar file can be stored in your ext directory, that way you don't have to mention it in your classpath settings.
