Im new n looking for an advice

Good day all,

I've being assigned to teach OOP with Java but unfortunately i have null knowledge on java. Can anyone help me to find a good reference or books that suite for the first learners.

As for the class syllibus, we are being advice to use "An introduction to object oriented programming with java" 4th edition, mcgraww-hill but base on other user's review, this books is not suitable for first learners since the words is confusing.

There's always the Java book in the Head First series.
