software to use for broadcasting server

hello all.
i never learn about java but eventually i have to do a project and it is a java based.i really need help from u guys.
i'm doing a broadcasting system using bluetooth (PC to mobile).Since for mobile the software that i'll be using to configure the codes is netbeans right?
for PC that will act as a server,i don't know what is the most suitable software to use.can i use eclipse? and what kind of version of it? thanks! it is much appreciable if u can provide the links for the installer as well. thank you so muchh :D

umm,havent decided yet,eclipse? i had download eclipse yesterday but it says that it is for java EE.is j2se is the same as j2ee?

Java EE means Java Enterprise Edition and Java SE means Java Stadart Edition. Is not the same. You download the wrong Eclipse IDE, there is one for Java EE developers and another one for Java developers.

I do not use Eclipse. Searching in its downloading page, I only see two different versions, so maybe with "Eclipse for Java developers" is enough.
