I'm lost, totally(pointer exceptions?)

the error message:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
at Triangle.main(Triangle.java:16)


extra notes:
I've noticed that when I change the line of the code it will still say that error on the same line(even know dif line of code).

Which is line 16?

(By the way, I can't see any reason for any variable to be null in that code.)

You're error is not coming from that code but from different code.

use
x++;
instead of x=x+1;
:)
(won't solve your problem, is just cleaner)
