Default JavaWebStart question: Old Cached Jar isn't being updated

When a few (and I have duplicated the occurrence) users have gone to the webpage and clicked on the JavaWebStart program Icon the old version runs and the new version of the program isn't downloaded. Is there a way to force download of the JAR if it's been updated. I don't want to walk each users, each OS and each platform thru the process of removing the old JAR manually.

I think it's possible to take active control of caching using there download service. Sorry, I couldn't found any link my index, search on the suns' web-site please.
