My encrypting thingy lags alot..

Hi!
Im made this enqrypt thingy that takes the first 4 number in the first bit and add it on the end..
And then rearange the bits to fit in order..
So it really makes no sence when u try to read it again..
So anyways, It worked fine!
I tried it on some txt files, and it enqrypted and worked really well!

But then I went on to htm pages and tried convert a downloaded page (56 kb)
and I meed, it is taking FOREVER!
So I made a displayStatus function, so that I will see how much is done..
And that function is runnign every time it edits a bit.
But it doesnt display ANYTHING!

It's really weard! Idk why but my computer just starts working alot but nothing seem to happen!

Could It be that I broke the length of a string limit?
Cause all bits in this 56kb file is being put under one string..
Could this cause the problem?

Cause I got a fast computer, doubt it's the comps fault..

nvm, it seemed to work.. Tho it took alot of time before it started..
Does anyone know how to minemize the time of the encrypting?

Bitwise operators, if you haven't used them already, will likely speed things up.

I do not find any use of it..
Could u gimme one if u had any specific use in mind?
