Looking for direction...
Hello,
So I've decided to focus on Java for a bit... I know some C# and have developed client/server apps in the past (still somewhat fresh). So, I'm not new to programming nor to object oriented principles (I know all about encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism and composition).
I'm making my way through the online Sun tutorials, but they go over a lot of (for me) familiar territory. For example, I don't need further explanations of if/then, for, or while loops.
My question: for someone in my shoes, where is a good place to hit the ground running and learn a lot of Java quickly? Any great book or online tutorials? My first goal is to pass the Associate certification exam. After that, learn more Java.
Thank you! :D

I'd say continue with the Sun's tutorial. You can just scroll through the sections you already know.

Will do. Thanks. Can you recommend next steps after the tutorial? Any good beginner/intermediate sources?

There lots of articles around. It might be better to do some projects and read the articles that apply to the current project that you will be doing.
