Cool setting up JOGL in eclipse

    I am so confused!!!
I've been trying to set up jogl in eclipse so I can make 3D applets. I've tried following several sets of instructions... I need either detailed step-by-step instructions or a video tutorial.
    Thanks!

Yeah, its a bear. I've done it but it required a lot of trial an error. Sadly, I do not have any tutorials for you, I used bits and pieces from example programs to do stuff. I used it mainly to accelerate 2d stuff, But I did make some flying cube examples. If you're still interested, I'd be happy to share some of my code -- I made a game of life with it among other things.

I think he's having trouble with the configuration of his IDE, not JOGL itself.

Next time you have an IDE specific question you should probably post it in the appropriate forum.

    Also, what have you tried?

I don't use eclipse, but most IDE's have some sort of way for you to add the .jar files that need to be linked. Also you will need the native library files (.so for linux, .dll for windows).

Eclipse is the same as NetBeans if I remember in that you can simply examine the properties of a project and add libraries (jars, etc...) through there. You would add the jogl jar files in this way.
