I am trying to put JARs in a folder I made called "lib", so when I refresh that, they'll be in referenced libraries. But when I try to paste a JAR in lib, it says "Cannot paste the clipboard contents into the selected elements".
Am I making a stupid mistake?
Are you doing this in your desktop manager or in some sort of IDE.
If so what type of IDE or operating system/desktop manager are you using?
Seems to me he's using any IDE. If so, the best thing is use the facility of JAR adding/importing to the project. Manually past it into the folder wont work, and most of the time those folders are with some specific attributes, read only bu the IDE. Can you provide more details?
Paste it into the folder with your dekstop manager and then in your IDE choose "Add librar/Jar" or something along those lines. You can probably also set a jar folder for your project somewhere, so then it would automatically update itself with whatever you paste in there.
My IDE is eclipse. I'm trying to put gluegen-rt.jar, jogl.jar, and swt.jar into my project. From what I've heard, I'm supposed to somehow put these files in a folder I make called "lib" and when I "refresh" something, they will appear in "Referenced Libraries".
