how to remove an old version of JDK
I was using jdk1.3 and have recently installed J2Se 1.5.
When I check the version that is installed it shows "Java Version 1.3.1_01

This is causing problems with the eclipse ide which says java version required is 1.4 but available is 1.3.

how can I solve this?
thanks in advance

you can setup multiple jdk's on the same machine. you can go into eclipse and define a new virtual machine. each project can be configured to use either the default VM or another you have defined.
