    Default Flash toolbar

Is there a way to have a GUI when something new happens and it isn't being looked at to flash a the toolbar on the bottom to show that something new happened?
    Thanks.

I think that would depend on the JDK itself and how well it is translating things to the underlying OS layer. But good question though. I don't think it is possible...but I could be wrong.
    Greetings.
