Default when would we use serializationa and why?

Let me know the usage of serialization and when serialization would be so powerful?

The quick answer is this... It is an easy way to save data. And despite all the notices in the API docs (for swing at least) about impending incompatibilities, it hasn't happened yet. It is far easier to just pass the object you want to write to an ObjectOutputStream that writes to a file and say "write this" than it is to generate an encoding scheme.
If the above doesn't make sense to you, ignore it, but remember it - might be useful!
And if you just randomly taught yourself to program, well... you're just like me!
