    Default How to Merge two Files

    Hai friends,
    I have two .ixf files
    My intention is to merge/ Append both to one.
    Could any one help me to find a way. i tried this forum though i coud not find anything yet.

    Hi,
    I dont think any direct methods are there in java.But,u can use FileInputStream and FileOutputStream for reading and writing.

    Yes we can help... but what's an IXF file? This DB2 Universal Database

    And some questions first... What are your contraints? Do you have to do this in java... I mean:

    #!/bin/ksh
    cat $1 $2 > $3
