writing to specific line in text file
hi guys this is my first post in this forum so if its in the wrong area i apologise.
can someone tell me if its possible to write things to a specific line in a text file. for example i want to store the values for 3 ints and some names that go with them. is it possible in java to to something like write to line(3) and then read from line(3), any help would be greatly appreated

I'm not clear exactly what you want to do. Trying to write something to text file, the location/line number specified earlier, is it?
Yes, it's possible in Java. How did you try to do it.
