Default [SOLVED] Toggle Mouse Left-Right Handed

I've had an idea to create a small little program which toggles whether the mouse is left handed or right.

I know you can go to Mouse Properties in windows and do this, but is their another way?
I tried a registry hack but it does not automatically apply. So if the person wanted to change it, I could do it by calling a .reg file, however they would have to restart explorer for it to take effect.

Does anyone know who to change the mouse, without using Mouse Properties and with it automatically taking effect?
    Thanks.

P.S If someone knows of a program that does this, thats probably even better.

Um, what does this have to do with the subject of this forum, which is "New to Java"?

There were only two sub-forums it could go in, 'New to Java' or 'Advanced Java', and I wouldnt say it was advanced.

Can you help, or just enthusiastic with forum cleanup?

Perhaps Java is not the best language for this type of app as Java attempts to be as OS agnostic as possible, and this type of app would require a language that can cozy up to the OS.

Yeah, I will look into it and post if i manage to get it working.

Knew even if I did get it working with java it would have to be a windows only app.

EDIT: Created the app in Visual Basic, works great. If anyone wants it just send me a PM.
