Make sure the html page you loading the applet on is correct.
you may also want to use javax.swing.JApplet instead of Applet.

Thank you, however:
I'm running it right out of Eclipse for now.
The point of this exercise was to teach myself about Applet. I'm not familiar with JApplet either... Maybe I'll do that next. :o
