Hello, I'm new to this java website and I'm taking a class on computers. We are working on DoctorJava to book is INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTING & PROGRAMMING with JAVA a multimedia appoach and i was wondering if anyone has completed this book... if so do you have the Picture.java files and could i get a copy with programs 6- 43 on them

Does anyone also know how to take scripts from PDF files because when i copy and paste them it come up with extra spaces that are annoying and hard to delete all... here is the pdf link coweb.cc.gatech.edu/mediaComp-plan/uploads/101/javaMediacomp-book--9-6-05-4chaps.pdfLast edited by azndynasty; 03-11-2009 at 03:42 AM.

haven't used the book, but it should have either come with a cd with the source code, or maybe it's on the publishers' website.

Thats not really the point of this website...
Especially if you're taking a class. If the above doesn't make sense to you, ignore it, but remember it - might be useful!
And if you just randomly taught yourself to program, well... you're just like me!

Well here's an novel idea -- how about studying the language and actually learning it?

A couple of things come to mind...
- If you're not interested in programming, why in the world would you sign up for a programming class?
- If you don't like the class, just drop the class and
- don't do anything or...
- sign up for a class you're interested in.
Luck,
