hourly rates

hi, i was wondering what the hourly wages are of a freelance java programmer in the united states are with 1 year experience, and with more experience later, like a range please. i find all different ranges on the net that seem to conflict, from $10 dollars per hour , to $80 per hour. any help greatly appreciated. i wanted to know because i was planning on depending on java programming for an income, but want to know what the pay is for it. thanks. derek

i guess on an average $ 35 an hour is fine. but it totally depends on your reps.:eek:
