usage of Hashtable
Hi
Can some one please send the code for how to populate the data into hash table and retrieve data from hash tables

No we cannot... this is not a send-a-code service... but what we can do is help you understand hashtables. Here ya go:
Hashtable (Java 2 Platform SE v1.4.2)
It has the methods that can be used with hashtables and has some simple examples.

myHashtable.put(key, value);
myHashtable.get(key);
As CJSLMAN said, look at the API. But version 1.6 is current ;-)

Actually, new code should not use Hashtable, HashMap and HashSet are preferred.
