Default what does this error means?

    Hi,
    Good day,

I had this error during the compilation. I don't understand what does it means. Could you please tell me what should i do.

com.tm.cash.modules.reference.proxy.ReferenceMaint enanceProxyImpl is not abstract and does not override abstract method searchSocBankChrgRateTermdate(long,com.tm.cash.mod ules.reference.model.SocBankChargeType) in com.tm.cash.modules.reference.intf.IReferenceMaint enanceProxy

[javac] public class ReferenceMaintenanceProxyImpl extends AbstractProxyImpl implements
    [javac] ^
[javac] Note: Some input files use or override a deprecated API.
[javac] Note: Recompile with -Xlint:deprecation for details.
[javac] Note: Some input files use unchecked or unsafe operations.
[javac] Note: Recompile with -Xlint:unchecked for details.
    [javac] 1 error

    Thanks

    regards,

    Default You MUST override

enanceProxyImpl is not abstract and does not override abstract method searchSocBankChrgRateTermdate
Simpy you tried to implement an interface or extends an abstract class. Whenever you do this sort of things you MUST provide implementation of their public/abstract methods. In this case you didn't supply a searchSocBankChrgRateTermdate() method to your class. Just do it. Note that the signature must be the same.

    Default

The purpose of abstract classes is to provide partial implementations. They generally have some methods marked "abstract". You must override all these methods to have a full implementation, so if you don't override them, the compiler will complain.
