[SOLVED] Java and or Netbeans Question

I am a "newbie" and I am trying to work through some tutorials that explains how to set up and connect to a Java database server while using the NetBeans IDE. The first step is about setting up the database and it tells me to "Open the Tools menu and Open the Java DB Database sub-menu item". I DO NOT have a Java DB Database sub-menu item listed in the "Tools" menu.

From what I can tell, these turorials were made using a "Windows OS". I do not have Windows installed on my computer and I am using the Ububtu 8.04 (Linux) OS. I am using NetBeans IDE v6.5 and Java v1.6.0.07. Have I missed a step or two in the process of installing NetBeans and Java? Do I need to load additional drivers and or database servers?

Click on Windows menu and click the Services option there. You comes with the Services dockable dialog. There you should see Databases, didn't you?
