Update existing buffered image

My problem is switching between images.
I display my first image. How can I apply changes to the image and display new image.

THis is my real problem. I am sure this has something to do with copying buffered images back and forth.

did not understand. if I comment

g2.drawImage(bufImag, 0,0,null);

I get the same result as with that code.

No, just put a breakpoint on the above line and debug.

I understand now. You cant have more than 1 drawimage. drawimage works only once. that was the problem. took me a while to figure this out.

If I'm remember you write the image buffer only once, right?
