Question What database is more suitable to a java app?

    Hi all,

I wish to create an application to maintain the evidence in a small activity. Main elements are the beneficiaries of this activity, each one with a set of characteristics.
The question I make is what database is more appropriate for this purpose?
Of course I'd like to use the one that is the easiest to control and query!

    Thanks!

If you are going to be using this application on one machine with a small dataset, you may want to look at just use SQLite. No server(s) are needed to be installed, and it's easily portable.

Since it's embedded with JDBC driver and based on SQL, wont be a bad thing. Better to read more about that yourself. I've never use it in my applications.
