I don't know "dr. java". You could just go to the Sun Java site and download the latest JDK and compile and run from the command line. The Sun beginner's tutorial can show you how to set this up.
May be you installed it in wrong way. Do you read any documentation related to installations of Dr.Java?
You need to download the JDK first.
Please follow the instructions on the DrJava website (Google for "DrJava Quickstart" -- I am unable to make links in this forum).
If you have further questions, it's best to contact us directly by registering at SourceForge and filling out a DrJava support request (on the DrJava website, click on "SourceForge", then on "Tracker" and "Support Requests" -- I am unable to make links in this forum).
We are unable to read all the Java forums (I found this question by chance), but if you contact us directly via Source Forge, we can respond and help you.
