    Unhappy How to over come java.lang.out of memory error

    We already increased the Heap size, But still i am getting this
    error. Actually we did increase the heapsizw upto 1024MB. still java
    process eating memory.How can I overcome this error

    By making your processing more memory efficient?

    Hard to say given the information provided. Have you tested it with a profiler?

    Default parallelport programming

    hi
    i am new to java programming but i need it for my final year project in b e. when i am compiling a program for parallel port, it says that " javax.comm" is not found. How can i solve this problem?

    You need to find the jar file that has the classes you are using ( javax.comm ) and add it to the claspath when you compile the program.

    Did you search on the web? Look at Java Communications page. May be there is a link to download that package.

    What's you process. If your heap size is exceeding 1024 MB, something horribly running on your application. It's rear case in a good Java application.
