    What is the disadvantage of using "*" in an import statement as shown in the sample above?

    You have some test cases with you. Test it, you can feel what happen. You know what means by * sign, right? So you can make a decision your self.

    Ask your self this: What effect does an import statement have when executing a program?
    The answer to that will help you shorten the list of answers.

    I think you should not ask such questions.You should analyse that concept based on the working of the java

    Yes, you should ask such questions after making an attempt first and have some concepts on your mind. First analyze and then implement and see criticize the results. ;)

    My point is, he comes with some test scenarios and why don't have practice them. So he can have the better idea about that.
