When I load into pogo for games, when I try to leave, I get a error message:
java.lang.NullPointerException:nullpData? I have been having problems with Java for over a month. I have removed and re installed several times but still have the same problem. What to do?
This is something wrong with the application(actually the code) you are using. Not an issue with the Java installation. Is that code written by you, or downloaded it from the web?
I would have no idea how to write a code...ha. I downloaded Java from their site and I have not downloaded any other applications. So I have no idea where that code came from?? or where to find out?
You'l probably have to ask the person who wrote the program what the problem is. There could be a bug in the program or maybe you are using it incorrectly.

i am havin this same problem...but in yahoo games...i get a two line error...exactly as follows name:ygames_applet Java.lang.NullPointerExcption:nullpData i also got java from the website...this problem started after an auto update...how can i fix it? ive tryed uninstallin and reinstallin but it didnt help. please can u help me?Quote:

How are you executing the program? What version of java do you have?
Can you execute the program in a command prompt window to capture the commandline and all of the error message text?
Did you read that whole download page. May be there explain about issues if have any. And also it may be explain about application requirments. It's difficult to say much things without looking at the error message.
I have uninstalled and installed Java several times. I am using the latest Java application. I use internet explorer and this is still happening. I think it is definitely something wrong with the Java application as I didn't have this problem until the Java program was updated. It also happens in yahoo games as someone else stated. Same code error.
If you are still looking some help here, copy-paste your error messages. Without more details what we can say?
There is no way to copy/paste this message when it pops up on the screen. I posted what the message said, just like the other person who got the very same message. How do you copy/paste a pop up message/alert/error???
What are you doing that gets the error message?
