After days of googling, I still havn't found a way to play a given frequency for a given time.
I'm looking for something similar to playTone(note, duration, vol) - I just wants to be able to play a frequency and not necesarily a tone.
Is this possible?
Yes, I would think that if you can play a tone at any specific frequency, then you could choose the frequency to play based on the current time.
What is the difference between a tone and a frequency?
There was a recent very long thread about making sounds by Willemjav on the Advanced thread. Go ask him how to make a sound.
playTone only lets you play certain frequency's (tones). You can choose from 0-127 (or something like that).
What I would like to do, is to choose a frequency (not necesarily a tone) and then play that for a certain time. I'm more or less trying to create high-frequency nosie.
